Be gentle with yourself you’re doing the best you can…

There’s a lot of times we felt as if we’re not doing the right thing for our child/children or we’re not doing the best that we can as a single parent, but yes we are doing the best thing ever which is to give our little ones the love they need and happiness.

Every single parent knows there are good days and bad days. The good days are great as I watched my children doing new things everyday. I listen my 3 year old son spelling new words and showing me shapes what he learn at school, and I watch my 1 year old daughter doing her own little stuffs. I cherish the times I spend with my children every single day, sometimes I wished the father was around so that we could share all the good times I shared with them. But nevertheless we’re still happy. So let us not feel rejected or feel as if we’re all left alone in this unfair world. ” The stone that the builder refuse, will always be the head cornerstone ” this is what I tell myself everyday. We must be gentle with ourselves and be the best parent we can to our children.

I know single parenting is hard but whenever you’re overwhelmed you can read:

  • Isaiah 40:31- but those who trust in the lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles, they will run and not get weary, they will walk and not grow weak.

When you feel alone:

  • Isaiah 54:10 – the mountains and hills may crumble, but my love for you will never end, I will keep forever my promise of peace. So says the lord who loves you.

When you’re worried about money:

  • Phillipians 4:19 – and with all his abundant wealth through Christ Jesus, my god will supply all your needs.

When you’re tired:

  • Matthew 11:28 – come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.
